alignstaffing is a market leader in education, social services, and behavioral healthcare staffing throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. We are seeking a full-time Business Development Consultant to join our team. An ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of business development/sales experience, preferably in the behavioral health, or social services fields.

Responsibilities

• Prospects, generates and qualifies leads through daily phone calls and in-person meetings


• Contacts and visit potential clients to discuss staffing needs and present the benefits of our services


• Obtains detailed job descriptions from clients and communicates needs to recruitment team to match qualified candidates with specific jobs


• Develops an understanding of staffing hierarchy, position types, and common staffing problems in assigned industry


• Applies knowledge of assigned industry to offer creative staffing solutions to clients


• Develops strategies to grow business and establish long term relationships with clients

• Bachelors degree in business, psychology, social work, or related field


• At least two years of experience in business development/sales, preferably in social services, and/or behavioral health staffing


• Account management experience preferred but not required
